"My dad is one of my biggest role models. He inspires me to keep moving forward and always doing my best effort to achieve my goals. He raised my brother and I to always be good persons, respect and help others, be responsible with our work, and most important: with our family. He always says: "we should thank God we have a loving and caring family and we have each other, because family is the most important".
I will always remember when I was about 5/6 years old, he used to go on business trips and before he left, over the night, I filled a plastic bag with a bunch of kisses so he could take them with him on his trip. He always said goodbye with a huge hug, a kiss on my forehead and he would whisper: “Ciao Gioia” while I was asleep. He is the most caring and loving dad I could get, and that is why I think my dad is a winner."

"My Dad, Frank Caruso, is more than a winner. He is a hero. My dad wears his heart on his sleeve, and he has instilled in myself, my sister, and my brother the importance of our Italian traditions. It’s hard to put into word why my Dad is a winner. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and his signature is that he never comes to a Family party empty handed- always coming with calzones and Italian bread from different bakeries. Before every major life event, the day would always start with an “In Boca al Lupo” text from my dad. I am honored to be a Caruso, and to be his daughter."

"So, my dad is the greatest! Here he is with me three years ago (almost to the day!) when we went to Italy together. He's the hardest working guy I know, even though he's now retired. He always has projects going, and he will always drop anything to help anyone. He loves gardening and always has the nicest fruit trees around. He can also build just about anything! He's always been super supportive of me and my goals, and embarrassingly proud of me. Now that extends to his grandkids. He will make friends with anyone anywhere - like, literally you can't take him anywhere without him becoming friends with everyone there. He got a new puppy a year ago and I swear it was just so he could take the puppy on walks so he could meet new friends, haha! He is loud and funny and loves hard, and I'm lucky to have him <3."

"My father, like so many fathers (fortunately) has had a profound impact and influence in my life. Ever since I was a little kid, I remember working with him, in the yard, at home, at his dental office, serving other people, and that's the main lesson that has stuck with me throughout my 42 years: Hard Work. My father (unfortunately) passed away at a young age of 52 and the legacy he has left is a wonderful memory and example for his family to follow. My father was also a part time chef. His love of food and cooking made a difference in my life as well as my family's. He loved Asian and Mediterranean food, and used olive oil to cook his favorite foods, and that's where my love of Olive oil started. I have since developed that love and have read more and more about the incredible benefits olive oil adds to the human body.
Awkward family picture with my squished in the middle."

"My father is a winner because he instilled the value of Faith in me. From a young age my father taught me to love the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. My father is 77 and I am 52. My father lives with me now and I have never lost my Faith in God still to this day. My Faith is one of my most prized possessions and is also a blessed gift. My Dad brings so much joy to my life and I'm so thankful to have him."
