Dessert
This 5-Step Spiced Orange Olive Oil Cake is an incredibly delicious and spiced dessert that makes use of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a unique way. Besides adding a pleasant flavor to the dish, the oil can also act as a natural emulsifier, ensuring that all of the ingredients are properly combined in each bite. This cake is simple yet full of flavor, and it's perfect for any special occasion or simply as an indulgent treat.
The recipe calls for extra virgin olive oil to help bind everything together - this type of oil has higher levels of antioxidants than other types and also contains anti-inflammatory properties which make it ideal for baking cakes. In addition to providing moisture, this oil also adds its own distinct flavor to the cake.

  • Preheating your oven is essential, as it helps to create a crispy outer layer while keeping the center soft and moist.
