Gift Box

No Yes

The whole bread-dipping table, in one box.

This is our Dipping Set with the balsamic added — the two bottles that go on the plate and the three jars that go in it.

What’s in the box

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500 ml / 16.9 fl oz) — Nocellara del Belice, Sicily. First cold pressed, unfiltered, raw. Lab-tested for polyphenols and acidity every harvest; the harvest date is on the bottle.
  • Balsamic of Sicily Condiment (200 ml / 6.76 fl oz) — thick and sweet, made in western Sicily from wine vinegar and grape must and nothing else. A few drops, not a pour.
  • Sicilian Garden (22 g) — parsley, oregano, basil, garlic, a whisper of chili, sea salt. Balanced.
  • Flame of Sicily (35 g) — parsley, chili, garlic, sea salt. Chili leads — warmth, not fire.
  • Herbs of Etna (33 g) — herbs, no chili.

Sea salt is the last ingredient on all three blends; no MSG; gluten free. Each blend is lab-tested for heavy metals by Agriparadigma, an accredited food laboratory in Italy.

How we set the table

Pour the oil on a shallow plate. Pinch in a blend. Add three or four drops of balsamic to the middle — don’t stir. Tear the bread and drag it through.

Good to know: bottles and jars are factory-sealed; saucers not included. Sending it as a present? Choose the gift box option at checkout and add your message in the cart note.

Questions we get

Is this the same as your Dipping Set? It’s the Dipping Set plus the balsamic condiment.

Is the balsamic a vinegar? It’s a condiment: wine vinegar and grape must, cooked down thick and sweet.

Which blend has the most chili? Flame of Sicily — and even that is warm rather than hot. Garden has a whisper; Etna has none.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes!! You can compare the smell to fresh-cut grass with hints of tomatoes and artichokes. Olives pick the aromas and flavors from the surrounding vegetation, so every genuine Sicilian extra virgin olive oil is unique. Papa Vince olives are peppery!! That’s why Papa Vince delivers a mild peppery kick straight to your taste buds.

No, we don't have an IOC label. But the quality of our product speaks for itself at first taste. This comes from the simplicity of our process since Papa Vince is literally the juice of the olive. We squeeze/press fresh olives right into each one of our bottles. Simple, natural, and tasty!

It is GLASS!! All Papa Vince products use glass containers and always will.

Why? Glass is cleaner than plastic. The non-porous surface of glass doesn't absorb food and germs (and smells). Glass keeps food fresh for a longer time without the need for preservatives and enhancers. Glass is also food-grade safe. So that’s a lot of good reasons to use glass containers!

Yes, perfectly normal. Papa Vince is unfiltered, which means we don’t use chemical or physical filters to standardize the look of our extra virgin olive oil. This helps us keep a higher level of antioxidants and polyphenols. And, of course, the more antioxidants and polyphenols it contains, the better the measure of health the extra virgin olive oil delivers to the body.

Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not filtered, it’s decanted. After harvesting, we let the oil decant for about 2 months. As a result, Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive Oil is neither transparent nor cloudy, but just right!

At the time of harvest, the level of polyphenols Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains ranges from 432 mg/kg to 487 mg/kg. Please remember that polyphenols are antioxidants, which are perishable, so this value will slowly decrease with time. Storing your bottle of Papa Vince's Extra Virgin Olive Oil away from heat and light will significantly slow down this natural process.

Yes, it is good to cook with! In fact, you might notice that your food is lighter, digests more easily, and tastes even better!!
